Challenge Coins for 2024
What better way than to start the New Year with our Cedar Hills Caledonian Challenge Coin. This beautiful new coin represents the 22 years of the Society and features our band crests on each side.
The first 50 coins have been reserved for the Past, and Present, members and you will receive their first coin for free as a show of thanks for your service to the Cedar Hills Caledonian Pipe Band Society. But that’s not all… this great new Challenge coin is also being made available to the public as our first fundraiser for the 2024 season.
The Obverse…
Features the crest from the first 20 years with the BC Flag, St. Andrews cross, the Newlands’ tartan and the Lion Rampant emblazoned with the Cedar Hills Caledonian Pipe Band and Surrey, B.C. Canada. Featuring the Canadian Maple Leaf and surrounded by a rope ring around the perimeter.
The Reverse…
Featuring the Newlands Clan crest and tartan and then emblazoned with the Cedar Hills Caledonian Pipe Band and Surrey, Canada. The new design was first developed for our 20th Anniversary.
This Challenge coin is being given to members of the Society, but we are not stopping there. Anyone that has been a member of the Society is eligible to receive a Challenge coin having served for a minimum of one year as a piper or drummer, this includes students in our Learning Programs. In addition, we have reserved coins for all future members joining the society too.
Past Members, to get your Challenge coin, send an email to secretary@chcpb.ca requesting yours with your name, address, email address and when you were in the society and we will make arrangements to get your coin to you.

We would like to thank all the supporters of the Society over the years and have made a limited number of coins in the first installment available to purchase from our online Shop. Challenge coins will be offered on a first come, first serve basis for $20 CAD each (shipping and handling extra).
