Get ready for an unforgettable experience as we celebrate 25 incredible years for the Cedar Hills Caledonian Pipe Band with an epic international tour to Brisbane, Australia in 2027!

In honour of this milestone, we’re organizing a once-in-a-lifetime musical adventure Down Under — and you could be part of it! We’ll be joining forces with a local host pipe band in Brisbane and exploring the vibrant east coast of Queensland around Easter 2027 (late March). Plans may even include a featured appearance at the legendary Maclean Highland Games — you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity!

Whether you’re an experienced musician or a passionate beginner, this is your chance to be part of something extraordinary. We’re currently welcoming new pipers and drummers to join the Cedar Hills Caledonian Pipe Band Society and help make this tour one for the history books!

🌍 What to Expect
We’re in the early planning stages, but our vision is clear:

• A high-energy musical tour of Queensland’s stunning east coast
• Cultural exchanges with fellow musicians
• Iconic events like the Maclean Highland Games, ceilidhs and more
• Lifelong memories with an incredible group of people

✅ Participation Requirements
To be part of this exciting adventure, participants must:

• Be a Member in Good Standing with the CHCPB Society
• Have paid all applicable fees, deposits, and uniform costs related to membership and travel expenses necessary
• Provide a release letter if coming from another band, confirming good standing and return of all gear prior to being accepted for membership in the CHCPB Society
• Commit to regular weekly practices, fundraisers, and band events leading up to the trip
• Maintain at least 12–18 months of active membership as a member in good standing prior to departure
• Be ready to learn and be performance-ready, with all musical arrangements prepared under the guidance of our Artistic Directors

💸 Trip Costs
While the Society is working hard to subsidize costs through fundraising, participants should be prepared to contribute toward travel and accommodation expenses.

Join the Learning Program for Adults and take part in our group lessons weekly and be ready to play with the pipe band in Brisbane 2027.

Join the Pipe Band Program as an experienced piper or drummer, while committing to all the requirements to take part in this epic trip to Brisbane 2027.
